Can face cream replace eye cream?

NO! This is because the skin around our eyes is much more sensitive. The least eye-friendly are ingredients like alcohol, which can directly irritate the eyes and cause tearing or discomfort. The skin around the eyes is different from the rest of the skin. It is the part of the face with the thinnest stratum corneum and the least distribution of skin glands and cannot absorb too many nutrients. Therefore, the most important purpose of an eye cream is to be quickly absorbed and properly nourished. It is not advisable to use an oily face cream instead of an eye cream, as it puts unnecessary strain on the eyes. In short, eye cream and face cream should not be confused. Face cream has large molecules and is not easily absorbed by the skin around the eyes. Therefore, it cannot replace the eye cream and must be applied before the face cream.
