When we wash our hair with alkaline shampoo, the oil on the surface of the hair will be removed, and the hydrogen bonds connecting the hair scales will be opened, causing the edges of the hair scales to curl up or break, which can easily lead to dry and frizzy hair. Conditioners contain oil ingredients that can smooth out the damaged or curled hair scales on the surface and form a protective film on the surface of the hair to prevent moisture loss. This is like applying a layer of moisturizer on a dry face.
The main ingredients in conditioners are some mineral oils, animal and plant oils, cationic conditioners, silicone compounds, and natural, active, and therapeutic special ingredients. Others are some emulsifiers, thickeners, flavors, preservatives, antioxidants, acidity regulators, etc.
After shampooing and cleaning, apply conditioner evenly from the middle to the ends of the hair, avoiding the scalp, and leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing.
The conditioner must be rinsed thoroughly, otherwise it may adhere to the hair, making it easy for the hair to be attached to dust, which will clog the hair follicles over time.
