Multi-foaming facial cleanser VS non-foaming facial cleanser

The bubbles in facial cleansers are mostly caused by saponifiers. Therefore, facial cleansers with more bubbles are usually slightly more alkaline.

The pH value of our skin is maintained at about 5.5 to 7.0. The forehead and scalp are slightly alkaline, while the face other than the forehead is weakly acidic like most of the body. It can withstand some weakly alkaline substances such as facial cleansers without being “corroded”. This is called “alkali neutralization” in medicine.

Different skin types are suitable for different facial cleansers:

1.Oily skin: Multi-foam facial cleansers are slightly more alkaline and have a stronger cleaning power, so they can clean oily skin more cleanly. However, after washing your face with facial cleansers, you should still pay attention to moisturizing care, otherwise, the oil on your skin will be washed away, and your skin will feel tight again, and it will quickly secrete more sebum, and the cleaning effect will be difficult to last.

2.Normal skin: You should choose a soft soap or fat-free cleanser with an alkali content of less than 0.2%.

3.Dry skin and sensitive skin: These two types of people should choose facial cleansers with high fat content. Such facial cleansers are usually low-foaming, and some are even foam-free. This type of facial cleanser is mild and less irritating. Although it has a weak cleaning power, dry skin does not have that much oil.
